Why use this site?	This site allows you to safely share your pictures, videos, and thoughts with your friends and family. Safe and secure - This site was built to be safe and secure and your media is only available to the people you choose. There is no "public view" of any media on this site. Better controls for sharing - Each person connected to you is place in a group - either "Close Family", "Family", "Friend" or part of "Your People". Media sharing is completely up to you by sharing with one or more groups (or none!). Each photo or video can be independently shared with your close family, your (extended) family, or your friends. Your people may share media with you - but YOU control if that media is shared with your people. In other words, you may not want to share a picture that crazy Aunt took. Sharing your media may (OR MAY NOT) allow others to share it - again, completely at your control with the "allow sharing" control. Personalized names - Each account has it's own names. In other words, someone you call "Aunt Kathy" may be known as "Grandma" to her son/daughter. Free - Any account made now will always be completely free.
How can I upload my pictures and video?	Click the "Upload" tab in the top middle of the page. Once there, Set the permissions for your upload [optional] Set the title and description of your upload Click the upload button Choose your file(s) and you're done! Your upload will immediately start.
Are there email notifications?	Yes, there are daily notifications or weekly notifications. Each account may choose their notifications (or none) in the profile section (click on account name). When notifications arrive they provide a list of people that have been active since your last notification. The notification will not contain any media from your contacts as that would possibly been seen by someone outside of your account.
Do I have to login each time I use the site?	No, when logging in you may choose "remember me" which will login with your encrypted credentials when you visit the site.
How do I invite people to see my beautiful pictures & videos?	Easy - click on the "People" at the top of the page and then click "Invite..." button. A prompt will allow you to specify their name (e.g. Aunt Kathy), their email, and their relationship with you. Once submitted an account will be created for them and an email invitation will be sent to them. The invitation contains a link that will allow them to specify a password for their account and connect with you.
Can relationships change?	Yes, within the people tab each person's relationship can be changed via menu. In other words, if someone you've considered "close family" starts acting weird you can remove them from your close family. Note: there is a "none" designation for people that can be used - with that designation only media showed with "all my people" can be seen by them.
Can I change the name of a person that I have on my list of people?	Yes, within the people tab each person's name can be changed by clicking on the name. This allows you to change things like "Barbara" to "Aunt Barbara".
How do I share pictures that my people have shared with me ... with my people? In other words, how do I approve sharing other people's media?	If the person that uploaded the media has selected "Allow Sharing" then there will be a sharing icon available - it looks like this: Seeing this icon means they have allowed you to share this with your people - but they can't see it yet. Click on that icon and a list of controls will provide you with the ability to share it with your people, again under you complete control. How best to use this for your close family - tell your "close family" to "allow sharing" when they upload media. This will allow you to control who, from your people, can see it. If they don't "allow sharing" then only their close family, including you, can see it.
How do I "NOT" share a file?	Make sure all the 'permissions' for that file are not selected (no checks in checkboxes).
Can I change the permissions on a file after uploading?	Yes, on the "Pics" tab each file (picture, video) shown as a "Permissions" link to allow changing permissions on that file. Once changed anyone trying to access your file will be subject to those new permissions/restrictions.
Can I add emojis into my comments?	Yes, there are standard ways of adding emojis based on your operating system. On Windows use "Windows Key" + "." (period) ... on a Macintosh use "Control" + "Command" + "Space bar" to see the list of standard emojis.
How can I delete a file or a comment?	Double click on the file (image or video) and you'll be prompted to confirm the deletion. Note: you must be the uploader of the file, or in the case of comments the person that made the comment, to delete it.
I there a limit to the size of an upload?	Yes, the limit is 300MB. If I file being upload exceeds this threshold there will be an indication.
Can I download the files?	Yes, to the right of the image or video there is a small download icon that, when clicked, will download the media to your computer.
